Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao has announced to provide 1 lakh rupees to all the minorities in the state. Orders to implement this scheme immediately have been given to all the officials by the Telangana state government.

Under this scheme, only one member of a family in Telangana will receive the grant amount of 1 lakh rupees. The Telangana government has previously implemented several government schemes in which direct cash benefits were provided to various categories of people in the state.

Scheme Eligibility and Criteria

1. To avail the benefits of this scheme, one must be a native resident of the Telangana state.

2. The age of the applicant should be between 21 to 55 years.

CM KCR Announcement for Minorities

The Chief Minister, speaking on the occasion, stated that the state government is dedicated to eliminating poverty, irrespective of caste and religion. To achieve this goal, the government is already providing support to the underprivileged from all communities.

The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to the development and welfare of minorities. Various schemes in the fields of education and employment are being implemented to address the poverty and backwardness faced by minorities.

The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with the positive outcomes resulting from the government’s effective efforts in this direction. Furthermore, the Chief Minister asserted that the state will continue to preserve the harmonious coexistence of different cultures, religions, customs, and traditions, thus safeguarding the unity of the diverse society.

According to the decision of Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Telangana Government has issued orders to provide financial assistance of one lakh rupees to minorities with full subsidy, similar to the support provided to the BCs (Backward Classes) in the state.
