Ration Card DBT Status: The new Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, has launched a new scheme for the welfare of the state’s poor people immediately after taking the oath of office. The Chief Minister has named this new scheme “Ann Bhagya Program.” Under this program, around 1.6 crore eligible individuals will receive the benefit of subsidized ration. To avail of this scheme, it is necessary for all citizens to have Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT); otherwise, they will not be eligible to receive the benefits of this program.

The “Anna Bhagya” scheme provides subsidized rice to economically weaker families in Karnataka. Under this program in 2023, eligible beneficiaries receive a direct transfer of the monetary value equivalent to 5 kilograms of rice to their bank accounts. This direct benefit transfer (DBT) is known as the “Antyodaya Anna Yojana and Priority Household Ration Card DBT Status.” Karnataka has a total of 1.28 crore ration cards under this scheme, and 99.9% of these cards are linked to Aadhaar numbers. Out of these, 1.06 crore cards, which accounts for 82%, are linked to active bank accounts.
How to check Ration Card DBT Status Karnataka online?
1. First, you need to visit the official website of the “Antyodaya Anna Yojana,” and we have mentioned this official website at the end of the article.
2. Now, on the homepage of this website, you need to click on the option “e-services” in the main menu.
3. Now, a new page will open where the menu will display the option “e-Status” Click on it.
4. Click on the option “DBT Status” from the dropdown menu.
5. Now, you will be redirected to a new web page where the name of your district, division, or area will be displayed.
6. Now, click on whichever division, district, or area is displayed there.
7. Now, on a new page, you will see “Status of DBT” written, click on it.
8. Now, select the year and month for checking the Status of DBT.
9. Now, fill in the RC Number and enter the Captcha code, then click on the “Go” button.
After clicking on the “Go” button, you will find out the status of your ration card DBT.
